No. The leads and prospects are not aware you will be contacting them, and are therefore unlikely to be aware of who you are and what you offer. Your sales team will therefore need to approach each lead tactfully and respectfully, as they would do when cold calling or approaching any potential new customer who has not directly reached out to you first.

Additonally, your sales team should be aware that the leads and prospects have not opted-in to any commercial electronic messages or communications from your company, and so will need to ensure all SPAM laws and other privacy and communication laws are adhered to.
